Annual Festival

The Ocean City Jazz Festival (OCJF) is North Topsail Beach’s premier cultural event organized by the Ocean City Beach Citizens Council, a 501 c3, non-profit corporation. The 2-Day Music Fest, which takes place the weekend of the July 4th holiday, features local and nationally, recognized musicians.


To promote and preserve the history and culture of the Ocean City Community in North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. Support tourism through financial support of the diversity that Jazz inspires and prevent the destruction of this historical site.


The vision of the Ocean City Jazz Festival is to:
1. Enhance sustainable economic growth for the Ocean City Community.
2. Initiate programs that enhance the development of county youth, through jazz education and hunger relief.
3. Improve the environmental health of the Ocean City Community
4. Develop a community land trust for Ocean City Community..

  • Continually improve over time by striving to measure our environmental impacts  by setting goals to reduce these impacts each year.
